New Election App Tracks Belize General Election 2025

The Elections & Boundaries Department has launched the Belize General Election 2025 App to help voters and stakeholders track the progress of the upcoming election. This app aims to promote engagement and transparency in the democratic process.

One of the main features of the app is the Voter Turnout Dashboard, which provides real-time updates on the number of ballots cast per division and polling station. Users can check the hourly turnout, the total number of registered voters, and even the gender breakdown of electors. However, data for the Fort George and Pickstock divisions is not included.

To get the most updated information, users are advised to refresh the app around 20 minutes past each hour. If a user wants to start a new search, they can click the Reset (blue) button at the lower right corner of the app.

The app also includes a Results by Candidates feature, which shows the vote breakdown for each candidate by division and polling area. Another tab displays the total number of ballots counted and the number of seats won by each party.

For now, the data in the app is just for testing and familiarization. The Elections & Boundaries Department has provided access to the app until 5:00 p.m. today. Users can check their email for the app link, credentials, and a document with screenshots for guidance.

This new app is expected to help citizens stay informed and involved in the election process by providing timely and accurate updates.
