The University of Belize (UB) and The ILS Phoenix have entered into a partnership, announcing the appointment of Miss Noelia Hernandez, reigning Miss World Belize, as the Brand Ambassador for UB. This landmark agreement also includes a prestigious Master's Scholarship enabling Miss Hernandez to pursue an MBA program at UB, underscoring a new chapter in educational collaboration and community engagement.
The official signing ceremony took place at the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences (FMSS) Campus, heralding a significant milestone in UB’s initiative to elevate its visibility and attract top talent. Representatives from both UB and The ILS Phoenix gathered to formalize the partnership.
As part of her role, Miss Noelia Hernandez will actively promote UB’s academic programs and initiatives. Her responsibilities as Brand Ambassador will encompass conducting workshops on confidence building and public speaking, utilizing her influential social media presence to amplify UB’s activities.
In recognition of her dedication and impact, Miss Hernandez has been awarded a scholarship amounting to $24,000 BZD to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at UB, commencing in August 2024.
